India Blake was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After attending Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied European literature, India joined the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in Manhattan, mainly focusing on voice, dance and acting. India performed in New York and was also part of an ensemble cast who toured the Czech Republic. Being from an artistic family, India did not limit herself to just performing arts, she also concentrated on three dimensional forms and as a result her large scale sculpture "Mood Stone" is now a part of the permanent collection of the Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey. India's strongest passion yet is photography, compelling her to travel the world, in search of imagery that moves her. Her fine art landscapes and portraits have been shown in numerous galleries.
